Ingredients:
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup beef broth
- 2 tablespoons chipotle peppers in adobo sauce, minced
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 4 burger buns
- 4 slices pepper jack cheese
- Lettuce, tomato, and avocado slices for toppings
- Your favorite burger condiments
Instructions:
The chopped onion and minced garlic should be cooked in a skillet until the onion turns clear
Add the ground beef and use a spatula to break it up as it cooks so that it turns brown
Ground cumin, dried oregano, salt, and pepper should all be added at this point
For another two to three minutes, cook
Add the beef broth and cook the mixture on low heat until it thickens and tastes good
Take it off the heat
Set your grill or griddle on the stove to medium-high heat
Make 4 burger patties out of the seasoned beef mixture
Grill them for about 4 to 5 minutes on each side, or until they're done the way you like them
In the last minute of cooking, put a slice of pepper jack cheese on top of each burger and let it melt
For a minute or two, toast the burger buns on the grill until they get a little brown
Put lettuce, tomato, and avocado slices on the bottom bun of your Barbacoa Burgers, then top with a cheesy Barbacoa patty
Put your favorite burger toppings on top, then put the top bun on top of that
Enjoy while hot!
