Ingredients:
- 1 lb penne pasta
- 1 lb Italian sausage
- 1 onion, diced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 can 14
- 5 oz diced tomatoes
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh basil leaves for garnish
Instructions:
Toast the Italian sausage in a big pan over medium-low heat until it turns brown
Put in the minced garlic and diced onion
Cook until the onion turns clear
Chicken broth, heavy cream, penne pasta, and Italian seasoning should all be stirred in
Bring to a simmer, cover, and cook, stirring every now and then, for 15 to 20 minutes, or until the pasta is tender
Add grated Parmesan and mozzarella cheese to the cooked pasta and mix until the cheese melts and becomes creamy
